The Providence Rest Foundation was created to secure major financial support to assist us in our mission of providing exceptional care for the elderly in a spiritually centered environment.
In 2010, the Foundation was merged with the nursing home in order to effect some savings. It is now the Development Department of Providence Rest. Our purpose and focus continues to be raising funds to enable us to provide more effective programs for individuals entrusted to us. Every effort is made to raise funds through grant seeking from corporate private and public foundations and through special fund raising events. Ultimately, we rely on the Providence of God manifested in the generosity of supporters to maintain our mission and respond to the increasing complexity of their needs.
There are several methods to contribute:
Your donation to Providence Rest, a 501 (c)(3) organization, is tax deductible. Please make checks payable to "Providence Rest" attn: Administration. Credit Cards are accepted, donation can also be made online. For questions regarding donations please call Sr. Seline Flores at 718-931-3000 x: 8458.
