Providence Rest Foundation - a 501 (c) (3) organization was created to secure major financial support to serve the needs of our elderly, as well as the children of our Day Care Center. Funds generated by the Foundation are used solely to enhance the quality of life for those individuals entrusted to us. All charitable contributions in support of Providence Rest Nursing Home, Providence Rest Day Care and Adult Day Health Care Program are directed through the Foundation.
Currently, the foundation is placing much of its emphasis on our Bridges To The Future capital campaign which has a goal of raising $4 million to cover the equity portion of an ambitious $40 million project for our new building and thoroughly modernize all aspects of Providence Rest while maintaining our present capacity of 200 beds. The completion of our new Baptistine Pavilion, built encompassing all up-to-date- standards in nursing home guidelines, enables Providence Rest to continue providing excellent care to a diverse aging population, particularly the growing number of residents with complex medical problems and debilitating illness
Providence Rest Foundation accomplishes their task through a variety of fund raising activities: Grant seeking via corporate, private and public foundations; Special events: Annual Gala Annual Golf Outing The Bronx Neighborhood Party Major and Planned Gifts Giving: Naming Opportunities and Memorials Year-End Appeal Contributions from supporters like you, enable Providence Rest Foundation to respond quickly to immediate issues, as well as, develop new programs and other important initiatives for our elderly and our children.
