Join Our Team

At Providence Rest we maintain a staff of highly dedicated and skilled team members who enable us to fulfill our mission of providing outstanding care to our residents and patients. Employment opportunities include an array of positions ranging from those requiring degrees, licenses and/or certifications to support responsibilities. Our overriding requirement is a passion for caring for the elderly, the ill or the injured.

We offer competitive salaries and benefits. Providence Rest is an equal opportunity employer – we do not discriminate on the basis of age, race, gender or gender identification, sexual orientation, religion, national or ethnic origin, disability or veteran status in any phase of our employment process.

Make a Difference in a Life as a Volunteer

At Providence Rest we greatly rely on the generosity of our volunteers to supplement the work of our staff in caring for our residents and providing them with a fulfilling life. We offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities that will leave you feeling good about making a difference in the life of another. If you enjoy spending time with the elderly – chatting and telling stories, reading, going places and helping them remain engaged – please contact us to learn more and see which volunteering opportunities are right for you.

Some of our volunteering opportunities include:

  • Lobby Reception and Information Desk – Friendly and outgoing volunteers who greet and direct visitors and family and cover the switchboard on weekend.
  • Adopt-a-Resident Program – Socialization is essential to a fulfilling life yet some of our residents do not have family or friends nearby to visit and engage them. While we have a robust activity and recreation program, volunteers who dedicate a few hours per week to a specific resident who looks forward to seeing them make a significant difference in that person’s life.
  • Recreation – These volunteers join staff members when taking residents off-campus for recreational activities, such as a show, a visit to a museum, lunch or dinner or just for a walk on a beautiful spring day.

We also work with businesses looking for volunteering opportunities for their employees.
